How do we clear out doubt?
We all have doubt and it serves us only briefly as questions inspires solution which translates into progress, growth and expansion. But we can get lost in pessimism as a few well seeded thoughts of possible failure with a creative imagination and the multitude of failing visions can run rapid. We are analyzing ourselves out of a successful outcome, and any hint of confidence shrivels. We are unintentionally squelching the muse of our creative intuition, self sabotage at it's finest.
"The first and greatest victory is to conquer yourself; to be conquered by yourself is of all things most shameful and vile." - Plato.
Mastering the mind to soften doubtful self defeating thoughts is key. Trying this in the mists of self sabotage is futile for once doubt starts, it grabs ahold and the momentum is too strong. The key to quieting the mind and those less than positive thoughts is to be aware of them just as they are starting and then to stop the mind chatter before they take hold.
Emotions Are The Key
Emotions are the key for the better we feel the better our thoughts are, the worst we feel the more doubt, worry, anxiety provoking are our thoughts. The mind is habitual and has collected over time habits or patterns (synapses or our neurotransmission in the brain) that are not serving us. We have to want to feel good in order to allow doubt to dissipate and those transmissions to change.
