Why Are We Here?

We all know when we are feeling connected and centered that there is  deeper knowing, innately aware that there is something more than this physical time and space. And this translates to inquire into the big question what does it all mean? The big Why?

The whole point of the physical experience is the expansion beyond that which is. That’s why eternity is eternal. That’s why there is something more than now, because the now will foster the desire that the Non-Physical Energy will answer. That’s why there is eternally more. Always has been, always will be.
— Abraham Hicks

As physical beings we have a tendency to forget this supreme connect, until we remember and then we forget again, until we remember. The constant state of flux that is our physical nature, flesh and blood melding with eternity. The part of ourselves that never dies. The biggest part of self that is calling us to create something new. To a leading edge place that is continually evolving our being into more.

As we grow this way expanding as spiritual beings in physical bodies. We are moving energy beyond what is current reality, in order to manifest what seems to be by magic, our powerful intentions. It's a matter of knowing what we want. An Inner awareness that is stable and clear to facilitates a more blissful experience. Ignorance is not bliss, it is discovering consciously on an emotional and cognative level our true intelligence, in regards to all things related to self.

Antar-drishti is the practice of this inner vision. Internally gazing with heartfelt intention upon that quiet space of ultimate wisdom. To see clearly the truth and sense the freedom of our spirit or soul.

It's that sweet remembering of this sacred essence which is the zest, the heart and soul of life. And that discovery over and over is the Why.

Tah has been involved with Yoga most of her life. She started practicing as a teenager. Inspired by a mentor to join a class at 16 sparked the yoga fire which has been burning ever since. After launching a sportswear line with her then husband in the late 80′s and becoming a mother of two daughters, it was time for a healing change. Trusting in the age old adage, “Do what you love”, was the consistent echo in her mind. A pivotal time of transition, a powerful period in her life as she realized the path that called her. Do what you love clearly meant that she become a teacher. In 1996 working simultaneously within the health food industry as a reliable source for nutritional council and support, Tah’s yoga business grew. She was able to open one of the first yoga studios in La Jolla. Shakti Yoga was born. After enjoying this prime location for a handful of years she realized the benefit of being a mobile instructor. This was the next logical step for her since the established client base was corporate and private. As she teaches she shares her healing touch of Reiki and Thai Yoga Therapy. Tah lives in San Diego with her partner of 15 years; and besides her two daughters who are in their 20s, has a rambunctious 5 year old son, who instead of a dog to follow him around has a loyal Bengal cat named Jagger.
