Becoming A Teacher Of Teachers

It is such an honor to be able to teach others who really want to know what I know. As a teacher, experienced as I am, because there's nothing like time. Time has the privilege to showers upon you a deep knowledge based on repetition. There is nothing like being integrated within the work over a few decades, through all the possibilities as every Body is different. To experience life as a teacher through all my phases, then to add on the incredibly diverse students based on mood, body, location ...Wow! What a way to develop a skill set.

I am continually learning enjoying an attitude of eagerness, just the same as I see in my open to learn Healing Touch Vinyasa trainees. I too never stop growing. How can I not be enthusiastic, awake, alive and aware? This life journey we are on has multiple layers physically, emotionally and spiritually. The magic is always there, appreciation is only a matter of perspective.

Do you see magic? Do you expect magic? Let us celebrate magic!

I love to acknowledge the synchronized moments, when all the layers come together to realize, as in the incredible feeling of epiphany, that great aha moment. When somehow the universe delivered exactly, and better than expected, what I wanted, Healing Touch Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is just that.

The process of creating my first Yoga teacher training has been incredibly rewarding, the outcome better than imagined. These first yoga trainees to have gone through Healing Touch Vinyasa teacher training have had such a spark of enthusiasm, an electric wanting of more knowledge that it is palpable. This is quite evident in their very thick training binders full of inspired work put together specifically for them.

I am getting a taste and feel for the beauty of this deeper wanting as I teach this training. All their (trainees) desire for more knowledge sparks such a burning flame to share what I know, igniting my nonphysical guides and gurus to come along on the journey to assist.

Receptivity is a word I share with the yoga trainees often. As we become more of who we really are, beings comfortable in our own bodies, the momentum of receptivity develops. Through this process of discovery or more specifically remembering our highest self, our energy frequency raises, we a-tune to that of our own inner guru, filling ourselves with light...enlightened we become.

Not to strive as in grasping for this state of connection always, but to know the natural flux in energy, contrast and expansion. To be content knowing we will find that place of lightness again and again.

As we create community~a tribe, collectively our creativity thrives and magic happens. Without much effort the group dynamic becomes one of genius. Taking all of us to this sweet spot of deep connection fully realized with ease and flow of perfect timing.

There is never a dull moment in this state of extreme receptivity as we embrace whole heartedly our never ending always learning journey of expansion.

Thank you Arati Lane for your amazing contribution as Co-Teacher I could not do it without your beautiful energy! And Jon Foster for capturing our journey so perfectly.

Tah has been involved with Yoga most of her life. She started practicing as a teenager. Inspired by a mentor to join a class at 16 sparked the yoga fire which has been burning ever since. After launching a sportswear line with her then husband in the late 80′s and becoming a mother of two daughters, it was time for a healing change. Trusting in the age old adage, “Do what you love”, was the consistent echo in her mind. A pivotal time of transition, a powerful period in her life as she realized the path that called her. Do what you love clearly meant that she become a teacher. In 1996 working simultaneously within the health food industry as a reliable source for nutritional council and support, Tah’s yoga business grew. She was able to open one of the first yoga studios in La Jolla. Shakti Yoga was born. After enjoying this prime location for a handful of years she realized the benefit of being a mobile instructor. This was the next logical step for her since the established client base was corporate and private. As she teaches she shares her healing touch of Reiki and Thai Yoga Therapy. Tah lives in San Diego with her partner of 15 years; and besides her two daughters who are in their 20s, has a rambunctious 5 year old son, who instead of a dog to follow him around has a loyal Bengal cat named Jagger.
