The benefits of yoga are continuously making headlines as new studies reveal the incredible benefits of alignment; body, mind and spirit. With surmounting scientific evidence, more and more people are realizing that they can avoid disease with a healthy lifestyle that includes yoga, meditation, breath and bodywork. To support this health boom, there is no better time to become a yoga teacher; gathering the experience and skill sets needed to provide a balanced, healthy, centered lifestyle for both yourself and others.

I have been involved with Yoga most of my life. As a yoga teacher I have developed a nurturing hands-on approach, a comfortable style of teaching; rich with verbal cues regarding alignment of body, mind and spirit.

I have put together a team of experienced teachers who compliment this style of compassionate teaching, to be part of our 200 hour Healing Touch Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training.

I can’t believe I ever contemplated NOT starting this journey. It’s amazing and completely worthwhile! I didn’t really know what to expect and I was doing it to deepen my own practice and this training turn out to be one of the best moves I have ever made!

Former students have shared that the teacher training was transformational and as one student reflects.

The journey you will be taken on during the Healing Touch Vinyasa Teacher Training is intense and invigorating. Over the course of three months, from the opening night ceremony (Puja) to the finals, you will be taken on a journey to solidify the practice of yoga within yourself and gradually, on the path of awakening.

As you dive deeper into all aspects of yoga,  you can expect to move through a powerful process that will bring you clarity and receptivity. Awakening, making friends with an aspect of yourself, that has always been with you, is the prize. It has the feeling of coming home, and once we find home, there is no turning back.

The greatest teachers know and respect the differences apparent in their students and their peers, leading with compassion, integrity and humility. As such, I have designed a course to help soon to be yoga teachers obtain a sustainable yoga career they love, and the education they deserve.

The HTV course includes a curated collection of videos and articles (all viewable through members only access on and the program is proving to provide real life results.

I am committed to creating a success path for all former and future yoga trainees and in the coming months, will be sharing the curriculum plans for the new Breath To Success membership site; a step by step clear course of progress that demonstrates each stage of development along the journey towards becoming a yoga teacher.

The Healing Touch Vinyasa Teacher Training is a perfect kick start. The "Breath To Success" membership though, will provide the portal, to keep the momentum of self empowerment and healing energy going.

Following this class will help you take the big leap from where you are, to where you want to be.

Stay tuned for more about my "success path" (a term developed by Stu Mclaren) that brings clarity and focus to learning online. Self care is the first of 5 steps that define “Breath to Success” membership, which we will be exploring in the next blog post.

Tah has been involved with Yoga most of her life. She started practicing as a teenager. Inspired by a mentor to join a class at 16 sparked the yoga fire which has been burning ever since. After launching a sportswear line with her then husband in the late 80′s and becoming a mother of two daughters, it was time for a healing change. Trusting in the age old adage, “Do what you love”, was the consistent echo in her mind. A pivotal time of transition, a powerful period in her life as she realized the path that called her. Do what you love clearly meant that she become a teacher. In 1996 working simultaneously within the health food industry as a reliable source for nutritional council and support, Tah’s yoga business grew. She was able to open one of the first yoga studios in La Jolla. Shakti Yoga was born. After enjoying this prime location for a handful of years she realized the benefit of being a mobile instructor. This was the next logical step for her since the established client base was corporate and private. As she teaches she shares her healing touch of Reiki and Thai Yoga Therapy. Tah lives in San Diego with her partner of 15 years; and besides her two daughters who are in their 20s, has a rambunctious 5 year old son, who instead of a dog to follow him around has a loyal Bengal cat named Jagger.
